What's the purpose of this list? This list is for individuals or groups not affiliated with the Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians' (CAPAL) to stay in touch with CAPAL's Web Content Accessibility (WCAG) community of practice. The facilitators and organizers will use this list to share announcements and invitations about CAPAL-WCAG activities. Who can join the list? This list is for non-members of CAPAL. CAPAL has levels of membership, including for students and people not currently employed as an academic librarian. Visit the new member page for details. Who manages the list? The list is managed by the CAPAL-WCAG co-facilitators (Mark Weiler, mweiler@wlu.ca & Aneta Kwak, aneta.kwak@utoronto.ca) If I join the list, will my personal information be shared? The policy is that membership list (i.e., names & emails) will not be visible to other members on the list. How can I unsubscribe? Using Friends-capal-wcag
To post a message to all the list members, send email to friends-capal-wcag@listserve.wlu.ca. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Friends-capal-wcag
Subscribe to Friends-capal-wcag by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
